| Ethnic Density Map |
 |
Ethnic Density Maps show the relative
density of a specific ethnic group or, in the case of Diversity Density
Maps, of a constructed group identified as "non-white or Latino".
The green areas on the maps are where the density of
the group is greater than the California average. The red areas
are where it is lower than the State average.
The information is shown by U. S. Census Tract (data from Census 2000). |
| Footprint Map |
 |
Ethnic Footprint Maps show areas where the density
of "non-white or Latino" population is greater than 50% (the aprox. state
average for this population in the 2000 Census).
The information is shown by U. S. Census Tract (data from Census 2000). |
| Cluster Map |
 |
Ethnic Cluster Maps show the areas where the
density of a specific ethnic group is greater than 30% (20% for the
Filipino clusters). These are areas which should be ripe for the
development of ethnic ministries.
The information is shown by U. S. Census Tract (data from Census 2000). |
| Primary Ethnic Group |
 |
Primary Ethnic Group Maps show the
predominant ethnic group in each Census Tract in the area shown by the
map. The ethnic groups are color coded (Asian groups also use cross-hatching
codes). Note that White Non-Latinos are not indicated as "predominant"
in Census Tracts with
50% or more "Diversity" propulation. We do this to keep from swamping the
other ethnic groups.
The information is shown by U. S. Census Tract (data from Census 2000). |
